Randolph has a long-standing tradition of placing importance on good writing across the curriculum and of recognizing student excellence through the Writing Board’s annual prizes for exceptional work.
In 2010, we created The Jack, an academic journal named in honor of Theodore Jack, a former president of the College committed to keeping the curriculum in step with the modern world.
The Jack acts as a showcase for Randolph’s award-winning papers and for the annual listing of students deemed excellent writers by faculty.
All Randolph College students are invited to submit their work to be published in The Jack.
